Job Summary

The Senior UI/UX Lead Developer will lead the design and development of user-centric digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. This role combines creative UI/UX design expertise with strong front-end development skills to deliver seamless, engaging, and accessible interfaces. The ideal candidate is both a hands-on designer and technical leader, capable of driving design strategy and mentoring teams to uphold high design and usability standards.

Key Responsibilities

UI/UX Design Leadership

Lead the end-to-end design process, from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity mockups and prototypes.
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define user journeys, workflows, and design goals.
Establish and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries for consistency across products.
Conduct user testing, A/B testing, and usability reviews to gather feedback and improve product experience.
Ensure designs follow accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive best practices.

Front-End Development

Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, responsive front-end code using technologies like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Collaborate with backend developers to integrate UI components with APIs and services.
Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
Enforce best practices for code quality, testing, and version control (Git).

Team & Project Leadership

Mentor and guide a team of UI/UX designers and front-end developers.
Drive design thinking workshops and promote a user-centered design culture.
Partner with product owners to prioritize features and ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases.
Review designs and code for usability, aesthetics, and maintainability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Computer Science, HCI, or related field.
7+ years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end web development.
Expert-level proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools.
Strong hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks (React preferred).
Proven experience in building and maintaining design systems.
Deep understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and user psychology.
Strong portfolio demonstrating both design and front-end implementation.

Preferred Skills

Experience with motion design and micro-interactions (Framer Motion, Lottie, etc.).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
Understanding of CI/CD, version control, and agile workflows.
Exposure to cross-platform mobile development (React Native or Flutter).
Prior experience leading UI/UX teams in a product-based or startup environment.
